With a customer base of over 30 million, Astrotalk employs more than 5,000 astrologers and operates in over 60 countries. The platform offers various features, such as horoscopes, live chat and calls with astrologers, and live broadcasts. Since Astrotalk is only available online, having a smooth connection is absolutely crucial.

The Problem

Building a live platform that can scale globally

Creating a platform that could accommodate this level on a global scale was a substantial effort. Astrotalk aimed to provide bi-directional video calls that could be simulcast to numerous potential customers. Astrotalk was determined to offer seamless, low-latency real-time communication (RTC) while supporting over 100 live streams concurrently. Additionally, they required a live chat feature that could rapidly scale.
